| The RC3260 & RC2260 Wireless Door Chime are battery powered and do not require electrical wiring. The RC3260 & RC2260 Wireless Door Chime works with a battery operated sensor at the door, whenever the door is opened it transmits a signal to a ac plug in remote receiver, within 150 feet of the door, to a receiver in a different location, thus announcing entry to your premises. The RC3260 & RC2260 Wireless Door Chimes can only be used with a closed door. If your door sensor will be exposed to the elements then order the RC2260, if the door sensor will not be exposed to the elements then order the RC3260. |
